Noviun Surfaces is leading a surface optimization initiative at Los Establos Ciudad Ecuestre Cap Cana, a world-class equestrian destination located in the exclusive community of Cap Cana, Dominican Republic.
The project focuses on improving equestrian arena footing, horse arena surface stability, and consistent riding performance to support both everyday training and international-level events.
The initiative originated from the need to adapt and stabilize arena surfaces to achieve reliable day-to-day conditions that had previously been difficult to maintain. After detailed consultations, it became clear that a tailored, technically driven solution would be required. An on-site visit allowed for comprehensive evaluation of the footing composition, environmental factors, and usage demands, leading to customized solutions that were identified, tested, and are now being implemented through a structured execution plan.
What distinguishes this project is the emphasis on customization rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. By combining advanced materials and proven arena engineering methods, Noviun Surfaces is delivering improvements in arena stabilization, dust control, moisture management, and shock absorption—all critical elements for horse safety, rider confidence, and long-term arena durability, particularly in tropical climates.
Los Establos Ciudad Ecuestre Cap Cana features more than 200 stables, including 80 main stalls and a 50-stall quarantine facility, making it uniquely positioned to host international competitions across polo, jumping, and dressage disciplines. Its proximity to Punta Cana International Airport and surrounding luxury amenities—including marina access, golf courses, beaches, and resorts—further establishes the venue as a premier destination for equestrian sport and lifestyle experiences.
